Andy Wood is the Lead Pastor of Saddleback Church. Pastor Andy has a heart for developing leaders and church planters, teaching God’s Word in relevant ways, and creating environments where those far from God come to know him personally. In 2008, after receiving a master’s degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary, he and his family, along with 3 other families, moved cross-country to start Echo.Church - with a mission to urgently lead people to say yes to Jesus and passionately follow Him. For 14 years, Andy was the Founding and Lead Pastor of Echo.Church, a multi-site church based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2022, Andy and his wife Stacie said yes to Jesus and a new call to love Saddleback Church. They now live in Orange County, California, with their three children, and beloved dog Mercy.
