Pastor Tony was born in the Eastern part of Germany when it was still a communist country. He is the second of eight children and grew up in the northern part of Brandenburg, close to Berlin. In 2014, a friend of his invited him to Saddleback. He instantly felt at home and found the transformation he was looking for. A few weeks later, he gave his life to Christ and was the first person at our Berlin campus to get baptized! He found healing, purpose, and love at Saddleback. Throughout the years of serving in different capacities — as a volunteer, Ministry Leader, Connections Director, and now as the Interim Campus Pastor — the call has been one and the same — to care for the people in his church and his city. Pastor Tony is studying theology remotely at IGW, a seminary in Switzerland. Him and his beautiful wife, Tabea, have two kids: their daughter, Mira, and son, Hosea.
