Sessions are a casual gathering for those who love church, those who don’t, and everyone in between. We currently meet at The Loft — a community center where the whole family can gather in a casual setting to worship and hear God’s Word.
Ryan Delamater was born in Bellflower, California, and has called San Clemente home for the past ten years. Surfing is his favorite hobby. In 2024, he surfed 256 times, riding over 3,000 waves. His travels have taken him to 40 U.S. states and 46 countries.
For the past six years, Ryan has served with OCNWTR, helping plant over 100 tiny churches across 11 countries and reaching 1,700 people. These churches have also installed five water projects that provide 80,000 liters of clean water annually to their communities.
When he is not surfing, Ryan enjoys reading or spending time with his family and friends. His favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, continues to guide him.
Ryan currently lives with his wife, Maria, and their four children in San Clemente. He holds a B.A. in Religious Studies, an M.A. in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Public Health with a specialization in Water Policy.
