Prayer is at the center of everything we do at Saddleback. We depend on God to go before us—to guide us, lead us, and shape every step we take. Prayer matters because God listens, and He invites us to come to Him with our praise, our questions, and our needs. No prayer is too small—God uses even the simplest prayers in meaningful ways.
Throughout Scripture, prayer is mentioned hundreds of times, and in the life of Jesus we see Him regularly stepping away to pray and spend time with the Father. If Jesus depended on prayer, how much more do we need it?
Prayer is how we commune and communicate with God. We believe that prayer is our first response, not our last resort.
